Directions to Dooley Colonial Home in Westfield, N.J.

GARDEN STATE PARKWAY SOUTH – To Exit 135 (Clark/Westfield). Stay to the right on the off ramp, and continue onto Central Ave. Go to the 5^th traffic light, approximately 2 1/4 miles, and make a left onto Park St. Go to the 2^nd stop sign, then make a right onto Westfield Ave. The funeral home will be ½ a block down on your left.

GARDEN STATE PARKWAY NORTH – To Exit 135 (Clark/Westfield). Stay left on the off ramp and merge into the traffic circle. Go roughly 2/3rds of the away around the circle and pass under the Parkway. Continue straight after going under the overpass onto Central Ave. Follow Central Avenue to the 5^th traffic light, approximately approximately 2 1/4 miles, and make a left onto Park St. Go to the 2^nd stop sign, then make a right onto Westfield Ave. The funeral home will be ½ a block down on your left.

ROUTE 22 EAST – To the Terrill Rd. exit at the light just after the Sears Mall in Watchung. Take a right onto Terrill Rd. and continue until the 5^th traffic light at South Ave, approximately I mile, just after the railroad overpass in Fanwood. Make a left onto South Ave. and continue until the 5^th traffic light, approximately 2 ½ miles to Westfield Ave. This will be the light that is immediately afterone passes, keeping to the right hand lane, straight past the traffic circle in Westfield. Make a right at this light onto Westfield Ave. The funeral home will be 1 ½ blocks on your right.

ALTERNATE ROUTE 22 EAST.– Take Route 22 East bound until the Mountain Ave. Exit at Echo Lake Park. Take a right hand turn onto Mountain Ave. and follow it until its end at the T junction with East Broad St. in downtown Westfield. Take a right onto East Broad St, and keeping to your right follow the road through downtown Westfield until its end at the 2^nd traffic light with North Ave/Route 28. Continue straight, angling across North Ave. while keeping the mounument at your left, and pass under the railway bridge. Merge into the traffic circle on the other side of the bridge, and keeping to the outside lane, go halfway around the circle and take the right hand turn onto Westfield Avenue immediately after the traffic light. The funeral home will be 1 ½ blocks on your right.

ROUTE 22 WEST– To the Westfield/Cranford Exit at Springfield Ave/Route 615. Make a right off the ramp onto Springfield Ave. and go to the 3^rd traffic light, approximately 1 mile, and make a right onto Broad St. Follow Broad St. through downtown Westfield, until its end, approximately 2 miles, at traffic light with North Ave/Route 28. Continue straight, angling across North Ave. while keeping the mounument at your left, and pass under the railway bridge. Merge into the traffic circle on the other side of the bridge, and keeping to the outside lane, go halfway around the circle and take the right hand turn onto Westfield Avenue immediately after the traffic light. The funeral home will be 1 ½ blocks on your right.

Route 78 East– To Exit 49 A, adjacent to mile marker 50.2, for Springfield/Union. The exit ramp will put you onto Springfield Ave. Stay on this road for 3 ½ miles, the name will change to Meisel Ave., and then back to Springfield Ave which is Union Co. Route 615 South. At the 7^th traffic light, approximately 1 mile after passing over US Rt. 22, make the right at the light onto Broad St. Follow Broad St. through downtown Westfield, until its end, approximately 2 miles, at traffic light with North Ave/Route 28. Continue straight, angling across North Ave. while keeping the mounument at your left, and pass under the railway bridge. Merge into the traffic circle on the other side of the bridge, and keeping to the outside lane, go halfway around the circle and take the right hand turn onto Westfield Avenue immediately after the traffic light. The funeral home will be 1 ½ blocks on your right.

LINCOLN or HOLLAND TUNNELS– To NJ Turnpike South. Take Exit # 14 (Newark Airport-EWR) and follow signs for the Garden State Parkway South. Follow the GSP South to Exit 135 (Clark/Westfield). Stay to the right on the off ramp, and continue onto Central Ave. Go to the 5^th traffic light, approximately 2 1/4 miles, and make a left onto Park St. Go to the 2^nd stop sign, then make a right onto Westfield Ave. The funeral home will be ½ a block down on your left.

GEORGE WASHINGTON BRIDGE– Take Route 80 West to the Garden State Parkway South. Follow the GSP South to Exit 135 (Clark/Westfield). Stay to the right on the off ramp, and continue onto Central Ave. Go to the 5^th traffic light, approximately 2 1/4 miles, and make a left onto Park St. Go to the 2^nd stop sign, then make a right onto Westfield Ave. The funeral home will be ½ a block down on your left.

VERRAZANO BRIDGE– Take Route 278 West (the Staten Island Expressway) to the Goethals Bridge. Stay in the middle lane as you leave the bridge and follow signs for Routes 1&9 South via Route 278. After merging onto Routes 1&9 South, go to the 5^TH traffic light, approximately 2 3/4 miles, at Stiles St. Make the right onto Stiles St. and follow it approximately 1 3/4 miles until the end at its junction with Valley Road. Make the left onto Valley Rd. and follow it a little over a mile until its end, where it merges with the traffic circle associated with the GSP Exit 135 North. Continue straight across the circle, by going roughly ½ around, until you can pass under the Parkway overpass. {DO NOT get on the GSP, rather you will bear off to the right and pass under the Parkway immediately after the North bound on-ramp.} Once you have passed under the Parkway, continue straight onto Central Ave. Follow Central Avenue to the 5^th traffic light, approximately 2 1/4 miles, and make a left onto Park St. Go to the 2^nd stop sign, then make a right onto Westfield Ave. The funeral home will be ½ a block down on your left.
